I Have a 2001 VW Passat 1.8T
I've been having this reoccurring problem for a while,
I keep on getting a 3rd cylinder miss fire.
I've tried everything! to fix this problem..
I've replaced all the coil packs I got brand new Bosch spark plugs,
fuel cleaners, but nothing has helped!
Please help me out it will be very appreciated! :bowdown:

First: Posing this in Anything Auto will not get you the help you need, PM a mod (or wait until they spot this) to move it to the Club B5 Garage Forum where the right eyes will see it. Second: You should get the codes read and report back, VAG-COM preferred, but even the free ones from auto zone will be more helpful.

Try replacing the spark plug cables and the spark plugs with NGK

Move one of the other coil packs to cylinder 3 and see if you get the same misfire.

What's your engine code, and what model Bosch plugs?
