Hi.

Help me understand the headlights of my B6 2010 estate.
I understand it has H7 high-beam and xenon driving light?

Light switch 0: Parking light and xenon are on

Light switch to the right: Parking light and xenon are on (as on 0, but the dashboard light is also on). When I enable high-beams the parking light and xenon also stays on. (I will switch the H7 to osram night breaker laser).

Do I have bi-xenon? Meaning that they adjust themselves and if I turn right they turn right a little bot?

I have bought an auto-switch on eBay. Can I have it switched on auto and the lights turn off when I turn off ignition? Will dashboard be light when there is dark outside and I automatically can use high-beam?

Thanks :) I really like this car. Currently removing small rust spots, inserting RNS315 and rear camera. +++

Your car has H7 high beams that are independent of the main headlights.

I can’t tell if you have halogen projectors or xenon. Usually if your headlights adjust when you start (up-down-left-right) and if the headlights turn as you take corners at speed then they are xenon. On the B6 the bi-xenon AFS system also has cornering bulbs.

So, i think you may have H7 halogen projectors. Best way to find out is to pop out the bulb.

You can also check out the part number on the headlight and google it.
