Looks like some time in the past, clumsy tyre replacement has squashed a pipe near the forward jacking point (Drivers-Left hand) side. I followed it from the front left when arch to the rear left wheel arch (Vacuum leak pump line?) If it is, it could be why i get a "gas cap leak-small", once in a while!

Does anyone have an idea what it is?

It (i think) goes to near the throttle body. I'd love to pull the wheel liner, but i'm away with work in a couple of hours so thought i'd pitch in here for sage advice (as always!)

Thanks in advance.

there is a vac line to the leak detection pump which is located inside the driver-side rear wheel well, so that's probably it. If that is the one, you can cut away the crushed part and rejoin it with a piece of rubber hose.

The other lines on that side are all brake lines. examine those very well.

Thanks, I'll probably go for that when I get back. It's like a rigid plastic line rather than metal so like you say, probably the vacuum line. I'll pull the wheel liner just to be sure.

Thank you.
