Hey did any one do an ugrade to gtrs turbo ???
i would like to know how it runs on your car ???

the "full" name is gt2860rs.

-All "GT28" units use a turbine wheel with 53.85mm inducer diameter.
-The "60" in the GT2860RS means it has a 60mm compressor wheel exducer diameter.
-"R" = Ball Bearing
-"S" means something "special" about it. in this case, the gt2860rs is externally similar to the gt2860r, but that this unit is better suited for higher flow applications.

there are other distinctions even within the gt2860rs, but i won't get into them here.

Turbo

Hey I am new here and love it, never new I could do so much with this car.
I got the bug now
2000 B5 ATW engine 1.8 20v
right now doing front sup upgrade while waiting for cold air to get here
next chipping it, oh yeah
I will upgrade the Turbo to a GTRS or a GT2X has any body done this turbo?
taking any advice for any upgrades that worked well
Oh also I looked up carfax and they said it had 20 reports on it
if anybody wants to run it and let me know what they R

yes, people have done this upgrade. expect to spend around 4-10k for the setup (depending on labor) - gtrs elim, fmic, programming, injectors, fmic, exhaust, clutch.

I'd say programming is key...bad programming and your engine can be toast.
