Can someone tell me what is the difference between those grooved ones and the normal ones? I am thinking of sending my Bilstein for grooving on one side.

grooved bilsteins have....grooves! ;) seriously, the grooved bilsteins have a couple of grooves cut on the shock body itself. You can then move the c-clip up or down on any of the grooves. This will either make the ride height lower or higher depending on the placement.
Hi schmove, do you have a pix or a link where I can see how it is being done. I do not want to compromise on reliability of the shocks
