Hey guys...have a quick question. I have a '99Tip 1.8T and I got myself a turbo timer yesterday. My question is can I put the brake wire to the foot pedal rather than the handbrake considering that I don't really use the handbrake? If so, anyone know where it should attach (pics would be nice).

Thanks
Biggs

if I'm not mistaken it needs a connection that can complete a circuit, ie when down the ciricuit is completed. It works the same way a video head unit cuts video when the e brake is not engaged. Is there a wire in the foot pedal that accomplishes that?

I'd just use your ebrake.

Not sure if there is a wire by the foot brake that does complete the circuit. I just wanna know if it is possibel, cause I barly ever use the e-brake. I figured that since u need to engage the foot brake to move the car into gear this would be more of a safty feature than the e-brake would be to me.
