Thanks, yeah I'm already completely obsessed about Passat-modding even though I don't own one yet, and I've only been a ClubB5 member for a month now   . I already ordered the Koni shocks and Neuspeed springs from our Group Buy even though I'm not getting them installed on the car until the car's all mine in JULY, he he.

I love Philly too!

About posting pics... You have to host them to post them. I first had to upload my photos onto my free server space that I get along with my Comcast hi-speed internet account, then link the HTTP address of the photo to my post.

The W8 overhead sunroof console has been installed, and I must say I did a damn good job. I was working as fast as I could before nightfall and I managed to do it all in one hour, just in time for a moonlight drive into DC for a night on the town! My friends totally noticed the difference, and I didn't even tell them I was gonna do it  :b5:  My dad loves it too, he he

I have the late-VIN '02 GLS, and if I turn the dial beyond the spring-loaded open position for a few seconds, then the sunroof opens 100%. The W8 console doesn't change the dial or any sunroof mechanisms, it just enhances the interior lighting. So the answer then is yes, the W8 console makes the roof retract all the way, just like it always has. I have the original dial, no LED on it.
