Has anyone gotten it to work in an 03 Passat without a TMC box??? I hear that a TMC box is a must in order for Version G to work. I have an 03 GLS. Anyone know a good source for the right TMC box or part number?

I don't thin kyou will need the TCM box. I thought it was needed to retain steering wheel controls, and you don't have those.

Actually I did, waiting on some more info before I attempt to install. You are absolutely right, the box is not required.

I think I may need one in order to have the nav info display on the cluster in my W8.
