Im getting shoddy acceleration due to running the car on the gas light a bit too much lately :angel:

What would be a good brand of cleaner? I mean the dollar store sells some (ID NEVER put that in my car) haha

just about anything. techron, seafoam, stp, gumout. whatever....Are you sure it's because of runnigthe tank low? Never heard of that before. My wife runs her A4 1.8T to 0 miles every time and still puills like new at 97K miles.

Id say change your gas filter if that is happening...how many miles are on it?

You want the ones with Polyether Amine (PEA) in it. That would be Gumout Regane, Techron, Redline SI1, and amsoil.

I ran the tank very very close to empty in my previous car, and it resulted in a clogged fuel filter. New filter, all was good again.

My wife's QX4 manual says to change the fuel filter when the acceleration is not up to snuff.

Sorry for the late reply was on vacation, ill look into replacing the fuel filter ive got 116000 as of Sunday actually added 600miles in one weekend.
