I have fitted this radio in both a 99 Passat B5 with a single DIN OEM radio and a MKIV 2004 Jetta with a double DIN radio. I have harnesses for both and the antenna adapter for the single DIN setup. The antenna adapter I bought to go with the double DIN radio did not appear to match up. If you have a double DIN radio you will need to obtain something (pocket or gauges and panel) to fill the gap.

I am selling it as I decided not to put in three aftermarket gauges and pull my Monsoon radio out of my GLI to mount the gauges.

I am interested...though am still researching other radios.

Is it plug and play into a 99 B5? Do you need any harnesses and will that be included? How much for shipping?

Does it play CD-R/ and CD/RWs?

And would you accept paypal?

Thanks!

I will include the harness and antenna adapter that I used with my 99 B5 (non-monsoon).

It will have the hand wireless remote, IR eye (wired) for the remote and the microphone (wired) for the DSA feature. Plus I think there is a CD in the radio right now that I forgot to take out. You can keep or discard it. :D

I haven't tried CD-RWs, but I have used CD-R media in the radio with no problems. However, it will not read MP3 file formats. It must be an Audio CD format.

Yes, I would accept and prefer Paypal.

Haha..you're good! Car Salesman?? hehe.

Just did more research on this radio..and had a couple more questions.

Do you have both Key Cards? Any scratches etc on the faceplate? or otherwise any problems with it? Got any pictures of the actual radio?

Also was going to offer $150 including shipping...

Let me know.

Yes it has both key cards.

Any scratches would be light from general use for about a year in my B5.

No problems with it. I had it wired up to my GLI a couple weeks ago but decided to go a different direction with my audio system. (Leave the OEM deck and considering a PhatNoise MP3 jukebox).

I will be taking pictures of the actual radio tonight, hopefully. I will post them up when I am do.

No, I am not a car salesman or in sales for that matter. :)

Ok sounds good. Will wait for the pictures and make decision tonight...thanks!

Oh and one more question..installation...will it fit the b5 perfectly or are any mods required..(I also have a 99 B5).

There is a metal bracket that comes with the radio. After you pull the OEM radio put this bracket in the opening. Press several of the tabs on each side againts the opening in the console to "lock" it in place. Then once you have the wiring figured out slide the radio in and your should be golden. :D
