You know it is killing me to post this...

Enthusiast owned. Meticulously serviced. Passionately driven.

And now looking for a new driver/owner to enchant and thrill. Punching with 290-300HP, provided by a k0mpresd tuned PES G1 M62 Eaton supercharger plumbed through a custom FMIC and pushing 9-ish pounds of boost. Drinks 93 octane through 6 rebuilt B5 S4 red top injectors. Pushes down at the corners with a Bilstein PSS9 suspension. Under the 17x8 RH AD Cup wheels, drives a spike in the ground with a set of Porsche 986 Boxter calipers squeezing 312mm vented discs in front with EBC RedStuff kevlar composite pads.

But that’s just the highlights. There is simply no other B5.5 Passat remotely similar.
A host of additional low-key, custom features complete a true sleeper persona.

Say it isn't so!!!!!!!!
I so knew you would be the first to respond. :poke:

I have to walk away from my keyboard for a few hours. I am physically sick. But I have to do it. I made a deal with the Mrs. to get the S4. Somebody is going to get a fantastic, well-sorted road car that I would have probably kept forever.

:salute:
Mostly because I creep on all Keithwbloom posts, but I'm pretty depressed right now reading this. It's such a well cared for, beautifully modified machine. I understand why you have to do it, I just could never bring myself to do it.

Someone will be getting the deal of a lifetime.
This is how I felt reading this thread:

I hate you Keith W Bloom. I hate you.

At least next time he'll drive a car to the dragon that can keep up with me.....haha. Seriously though, great car for a wrench minded kind of guy.
wow Keith, you really did it. I thought you were joking about it.

I've seen this car in person and met Keith, if I was in the market, I would buy this car in a heart bit. The pics don't do it justice, it looks so much better in person.

Keith, good luck with your sale. I hope that it goes to the right home that can appreciate all your hard work

I see you qualified that first part with a "seriously" ;)

Seriously from my side, next year I will still not be able to catch up to you at the pump.

I have personally driven this car and I can say it was a blast to drive. Those coil overs are soooooo damn smooth it is not funny. I was taking a sweeping left hander by my house at 75 and it didn't even skip a beat. Hats off to a good guy and a drivers car!

And...this is how you list a car for sale btw....good Job Keith

Thanks Pete. And you drove it before the G1 was installed. We should try to meet up so you can sample the supercharged version. ;-)

This almost........ALMOST makes me want to sell my S80 and lower my monthly payment to get this.

I should meet you in Fredericksburg for a test drive. Perhaps some cues and brews at Hard Times Café?

You at least have to see and hear it before I sell it on. You haven't yet and I know you want to... ;)
how about a grand :poke: and i promise to keep her pretty and in good shape and you can come up and take and drive her as often as you want
oh come on, we all know that means keep the engine pretty...

or keep pretty much all the rubber on the tires ;)
DAMN!!! cant believe your letting this go. wish I was in the market, but I am still tweaking away on my own Passat. glws... at least you got the s4 now huh
Started to steel myself against her seductive stance and pulse-quickening whine. Down to driving Betty just once a day now on average, doing two thirds of my errands in Pia. Gotta ease myself off my G1 addiction because a sale may soon be pending... :icon_eek:

Did I just jinx myself by stating that? Dang... ;)
Keith, good luck with the sale, great looking car and i love your passion about it, mostly read it on the POTM post
i think you should part it out, mainly just take that g1 off it and start a new thread on the G1 install on a V8 S4 cabrio...
