Bringing up an old dead thread, but has anyone ever heard of a B5.5 front end on an A4? It's like an 03 Passat, and a guy has an S4 with no front. Will need basically everything, so could it be done you think? I want to have some ideas before I offer anything to the guy with the Audi.

What gen? B6 A4? While similar, I don't think the front clip will match up very well, including fenders (I bought my B5.5 Passat and B6 A4 within months of each other back in 06). You'll have to do some comparative measurements.

The A4 is a 00, the Passat is actually an 02.

Ok, so B5 S4. MAYBE, but there is the hood differences in length and width, and the fact that the B5 Audis may not have been as wide as the Passat, even though they share the same platform.

That's what I'm worried about. I want the 2.7tt and this ones an auto, but it's got no front end.
