Have some front end damage from a side swipe and was wondering how hard it was to put on a B5.5 front end on a B5, i assume i need the fender, hood, bumper, radiator supports, headlights, and so on

i really like this pic and want to convert it.

its supposed to be bolt on, however you need allot of parts
radiator support
radiator??(not sure)
bumper support
bumper
snub mount bracket???
fenders
hood
headlights
grills
rubber seals
a/c fan???
which come out to be around 1500 and up just the parts, plus you will most likely need some other stuff too

I did the JDM front end conversion on my Acura Integra type r, lot of work, the rad support had about 84 spot welds, but worth it. I was intrigued by the 5.5 swap(rad support is bolted in, thank god), looks like you could do it yourself, except the paint. Buy the parts used, it will save you a lot of money.

So this conversion looks like it may be a bolt on application with minor custom fitting, anyone know if the b5 and the b5.5 have the same radiator.
anyone have pictures of the b5 and b5.5 radiator supports?

you will not be able to align half of those AFTER MARKET parts once they will be on the car... much better to go with the junk yard...

you are kinda right. I bought aftermarket parts when i fixed my passat cause i needed cheap and the rear bumper cover didn't fit all the well i had to use a heat gun to get it to stay how i wanted. Well that's what the russians said they did. Im happy with it.

Parts are from Certifit.com
Lucky they have one right by my house so it was just a 3 min drive to get them :) they have other parts too. I also tried to order the aftermarked DEPO projector lights but certifit didn't want to unless i bulked it so i decided to just wait.
