I owned a 1995 Ford Taurus. The little stabilizer bars on the rear needed to be replaced. Moog: 115 Usd, On Ebay: 7 Usd. What?? They are 7 inch bars, threaded on each end with bushings. I purchased the ones over a hundred dollars cheaper. Worked perfectly long after I sold the car. Overpriced junk.A lot can be said about comparing replacement part dimensions to the original; but in this instance the layered corrosion might've made any check of dimensions a futile attempt.
If this had been vwb5t's car, I think he'd have sourced a complete rear axle beam with hubs out of California to reduce the :banghead: factor.
Thanks for the tip on avoiding Moog parts in general.
