I turned on the fogs the other day and I got nothing - from both of them. Do you think a fuse was blown? How do I check for this problem?
How do I do that? I just had my car in for a 50k mile service and I asked them to check the fogs, but they were telling me to replace both fog lights - $100+ per fog light. They did not even mention any relay probs. Hope this is something easy to check and can be fixed myself - or at least cheaply!rtenke said:check the relay before replacing bulbs.
It is BS, as long as the wattage is not exiding , you are fine. Like e_andree said, just do the 55 watts bulbsGoldenPassat said:I was told by the dealers that I should not put in the bright white/blue fog lights b/c they may burn the connections. I think this is BS, but wanna make sure.
