I heard about foam-filling the A-pillars being done in the LS400, and I just came across an article recommending it as a mod to improve performance by stiffening the chassis. A nice side benefit is reducing noise.
oh come on Rusty... now I'm all for stiffening our already heavy cars... i think working on better positioning for torshion bars would be better to stiffen the areas of our cars that will flex.
oops, just saw the original thread and all the posts, so i guess the foam-seal is a no-go for the passat
However, I think i just added the Ground Control shocks to my "future dedicated auto-x car" wish list .
