Finally finished my subwoofer project.
The box is made of fiberglass and mdf, the sub-box sits inside the jack compartment and can easy be removed if I need to change lightbulbs.
The tricky part was to get the carpet on the subwoofer to look good, if you se on the top of the box, right by the taillight you can see it's not perfect

That's nice!!! I like the new look of the LA subs too. Much better than the old ones with the fake allen head bolts in them. You get a :thumbup:

You just have to stretch it and make sure all your seams are on an edge. It's not that hard.

Paul (for the carpet) Shouln't he use the glue that comes out of a spray can to keep all the carpet on the box? I think you get the glue cans at apholstry shops...

The 3M Industrial Strength upholstery spray glue works great for that. I always had a 5 gallon drum of it and sprayed it on with a paint gun, but the cans work just fine.
