**** UPDATE 02/15/2006****

I'm deciding to keep my Passat. My wife agreed that it would be better to sell her stock Jetta VR6 instead.
Quite a big difference in trade-value: '98 Passat = $5k ... '02 Jetta = $12k-14k

Hopefully my Passat can last another 4-5 years and/or 80k miles more :)

Thanks for all the replies though. This place actually works!

--------------------

I can't have 3 vehicles ... so I'm keeping my wife's Jetta and selling the Passat. (I'm SUV bound):

Just wanting to get a feel for the interest in my car... and how much I could expect to sell it for. I'm in Southern CA (Irvine). I've seen prices ranging from $10k - $12k for this year with the types of mods I have... but the mileage (175k) might change things a bit ... I dunno.
I just got new tires recently ... 02/11/2006 (General UHP's).

Original Owner, oil/filter changes every 5k (religiously) with Mobil 1 synthetic, K&N Drop-In air filter for most of the miles.

Oh... and I'm NOT including the XBOX :)

With that many miles you will be very lucky to get $6K for it, but maybe you'll get lucky, most people won't even touch it because of the miles.

According to KBB.com your car is worth $5,875 in "Excelent" condition.

You'd probably do better parting all your aftermarket bits, going back to stock and then selling the car.

Yep.... Good point.

So... Let's start with some stuff:

PnP Strut Bar (Connects accross the two strut tower assemblies) Easy install. $50.

Set of 4 17" TSW rims & tires. As seen in the photo. Just mounted brand new tires. $500
(I have an extra set of 15" Ronal LV's that came with the car)

Set of H&R Sport springs (on the car now ... I have the stock springs and shocks). $150

Set of Eibach ProKit springs for '98 B5. $100

GFB Hybrid Diverter Valve. $75

I'll post more pics tonight.

I'll take the PnP Strut Bar, what's the total shipped to Chicago, IL 60607? Do you take Paypal, if so please include your address & I'll send payment.
