Someone please tell me that there is a simple straightforward way to remove and inspect the fan speed switch knob on a 2013 SE.
ac blower quit and everything is checking out further down the circuit and I’ve read the switches sometimes degrade or break over time but can be fixed with jb weld. I just don’t know how to get them out/off, whatever. Obviously I’m googling it, but getting model and instrument specific info hasn’t been as easy as I’d expected.

Never mind. It’s the resistor pack acting oddly. Tested for continuity across it and had it. Tested it again and had it, for about 3-4 seconds. Now nothing, but if I wait a few min before testing again, it get a blip of continuity tone and then silence.
The circuit both complete and incomplete until I observe it and even then it’s non-binary? What kind of quantum mechanics bs did those Germans engineer into this thing?
But I am talking about the guys that put the blower directly under a debris trap so what else should I expect.
