F/S: W8 BBK upgrade/conversion (b5.5, may fit b5 with additional parts)

Here we have a cleaned up W8 big brake upgrade for your 1.8T/V6 Passat! It includes the knuckles, calipers, brand new brake pads and front rotors! What you'll need to complete this setup is new wheel bearings which can be had for cheap. Just do an eBay search for some W8 Timken bearings and you should be able to find some for under $130. Have a shop install them for less then $45-$50 bucks and you have yourself some awesome stopping power. You'll also need to reuse your brake lines/hard lines unless of course you purchase some stainless steel braided lines from ECS Tuning which would compliment this kit perfectly! I was going to install this on my car but opted out due to financial reasons. Tis the season and all and I need the cash to get the little ones some extra cool gifts. I can have this kit out to you for $400 SHIPPED IN THE US!! This is a heavy package so most of that money will be taken up by shipping costs. Besides that, add up everything that you're getting and you'll realize quickly that this is a great price for an OEM+ upgrade! I originally expected to have this done when I swapped out my axles and control arms but because of set-backs on getting the correct wheel bearings out I had to reuse my original stuff and just go with the flow.

To reiterate; The things needed for the swap to be successively done on a B5 are new axles from a B5.5 (any year) and the FRONT LOWER control arm from an 04+ B5.5. I was lucky in that my '03 was made after the split-year so I didn't need to get new control arms. But since I'm not doing the swap any more.. this is what you'll have to do unless you already have an '03.5+. All of this will be needed on top of the wheel bearings.

I believe B5 owners would also need to change axles for the larger diameter bearings, no?

I believe 1.8T B5 owners would also need axles from the 2.8 V6 for the larger diameter bearings, no? Also, the forward LCA from the steel upright doesn't fit the aluminum ones.

Almost 900 views and not a single bite. Are there no b5.5 guys that want some extra stopping power?! Or is the lack of wheel bearings scaring folks off? If that's the case I can always have some new Timken wheel bearings installed for an additional $150 bucks.
