I proudly own an '06 Passat 2.0T automatic which just turned 57000 miles. When I purchased my vehicle 3 months ago, I installed Bosch platinum plugs(preset gap), changed the air filter, along with 5w30 synthetic oil & oil filter. The car runs fantastic averaging 28-32 mpg on 91 octane gasoline.
The only compliant I have is the heavy carbon buildup within the tail pipe?!?
Do all 2.0 turbos act the same?

Yup. at least my 06 B6. I think thats why they dont make the chrome exhaust pipes standard on them cuz then it really stands out. My MK5 Value Edition came with chrome and i never noticed the build up i get with the B6.

Same here...I bought some chrome tips last week...and I have noticed just over a few days the build up. I just take a tissue every time I fill up and run it across the ends and takes it right off. Something to do while I wait for the gas.:wrench:
