Got my new BOV/DV from evo today, installed it took in a couple of test runs and did not notice a difference at all ( have it hooked up as BOV). Could anyone give me an idea why I am not hearing the whoosh sound? Should I hook it up as a DV and not worry about the whoosh sound? Me personally would like to here the whoosh. I also did not notice any throttle response. Somebody give a lesson in turbonetics with a EVO MOTORSPORTS BIllet BOV/DV. THank YOU Kevin

what you mean hooked up as BOV ?

You can have a

BOV ( 1 hose connection) the other port goes to atmosphere.
DV: 2 hose connections turbo side and intake side
Hybrid: 2 hose connections plus a port to release part of the air to atmosphere.

If you got a Hybrid valve you might had connected the valve with the hoses inverted.

To my understanding I can hook the Evo billet DV up either as a BOV or a DV.
DV is a valve , BOV is another valve and a Hybrid is both valves combined

your valve looks like which one of those:

What you mean by hook up ?

I have never heard of a valve that changes between BOV and DV by changing the way the hoses are connected to it.
