Check engine light is on and dash says "Emission Workshop!". I've been told it could just be a leaky gas cap causing the warning. If it is the cap and I replace it, will the check engine light reset itself or does it have to be reset by the dealer?

It should reset itself after a few days (or cold starts). If it doesn't take it in.

If the gas cap is loose,this will happen. I could also be vacuum hoses. After repair,
the light will go out after 10-20 starts.

Just make sure you hear at least 3 clicks when you close your gas cap. Also check your vaccum lines.

Thanks Trekie - it was the vacuum lines - had them replaced today.
