The battery on the '03 4m 30v wagon is getting replaced Wednesday as soon as I pick the new one up. Aside from being a very reluctant start the last week or so of very cold days, I also now have a CEL and Airbag Fault lights welcoming me every morning.

Battery related?

possibly. you'll know for certain when you put the new battery in.

there is also the possibility you don't have a good ground causing it.

yes ,take digital multimeter and measure alternator's voltage
