Ha, my broke rear window is now even more broke.
I accidently hit the drivers rear window button this morning on my way to work. A horrendous noise came from within the door, seconds later I heard the "donk" (window dropping down to it's lowest point). Now the window is permanently down.
I've got a couple of brand new window regulators stowed away in crate somewhere.
Just have to find a way to get the window up and stay up so it looks like it's all locked up and secure over night.

You should be able to 'pull' the glass up from the position it is in and a well placed screwdriver for a wedge will keep it in position. For real security a 2x4 below the window works well but you'll need to remove the door panel to do that.

Bush fix...
Used an old chair leg shoved under the window. Good to go. (y)

Andreas, that happened to me at the ATM, with my driver's window. Pushed down button, the crap OEM window clip busted (I learned later), and my window went straight into my door. Unfortunately, mine shattered. Scared the **** out of me, and everyone that was within 30 feet. Talk about a close call heart attack.
