Has anyone noticed that their driver's door doesnt quite have the thud of the rear doors when you shut it? Is there something wrong or is there a way of restoring that crisp shut that I liked so much a few months ago?...not that big of an issue, just wondering if it's my imagination. :???:

I think it's more of a door spring design then anything else. Have you noticed that once the rear doors pass the "point of no return" they close themselves via the spring effect? The front doors don't have that effect as much even when new and much less when they've gotten some wear on them.

That thing with the spring is only when your closing or opening the door slowly. Our doors have a 3 postion lock to keep your door from swinging out and damaging itself.

The thud may not be there because the door needs some adjusting, the door may be out of alignment.
