I know the door locks are supposed to automatically lock after you exceed 10 MPH, but mine do it every time I go over 10 MPH. I might be crazy but I dont remember them doing it every time when I first got the car.

Am I crazy does this happen to everyone and I just didnt notice it initially? is my CCM flaking out?

Sometimes when rolling down or up my drivers window, it will change direction and go all the way up or down and you cant stop it either not sure if this could be another part of the problem.

yeah any time, it doesn't matter if they are locked or unlocked, they always re-lock any time I go over 5 or 10 miles, in rush hour traffic if I slow down to a crawl then accelerate to 10 miles they re-lock. I dont even have to come to a full stop, just slow down and speed up.

I believe you can switch that feature off with VCDS. My car doesn't lock while driving.
My best guess would be a faulty solder joint or switch in a Door Lock Module.

Get it scanned with VCDS (Vagcom) and post the codes.

As Tom said, it is a "feature" that can be turned off in the CCM. I had mine turned off when I bought the car. You still have an issue that is causing the auto lock to malfunction, but turning off the it may help.

Something is telling the CCM that a door is unlocked, so it will try to lock the doors over and over again. I'd bet that your alarm horn doesn't honk when locking the car, either.

This type of issue is usually an issue in a door lock module. There are switches in the module that send a signal for the state of the lock (un/locked), if a key is turned in the cylinder to lock or unlock position, and if the door is open or closed. There are some solder points on the module that will fail under certain circumstances, and occasionally one of the switches fail. I've also seen a few where the lock cylinder switch will continue to indicate that the cylinder is turned to lock or unlock, even with the cylinder back to center. This is typically a result of some dirt/corrosion/etc. in the cylinder path that makes the switch physically stick... Some proper lubricant and "exercising" the cylinder back and fourth usually will clear that up.

Interesting, you nailed it I think. my alarm horn doesnt honk all the time just sometimes. I always figured maybe the horn was flaky.

I will look at the lock modules, I think the lock on the hatch is the culprit. that lock is frozen it wont move at all, it feels like the cylinder is frozen because the hatch still unlocks and relocks when I use the switch but with the key it wont turn at all.
