As I posted previously... my check engine light came on. (2002 V6 GLX 4motion)
I just realized that I turned over 110,000 miles just about the same time the light came on. Anyone know if the two are related? If so.. I did the service work a little early because of a planned long trip so can I just reset the light?
Can the light be reset without a Vag-com?

Any and all help is Greatly appreciated.
Thanks

that I know of, the check engine lights do not come on or are intergrated with your milage. You should get the codes read and post the codes. You can get them read at any autozone for free. Is there any difference in the way the car is driving?

Thanks for all the input. Got a Vag-com code reader on it's way to me. I am very interested to see what's going on here. Hurry up UPS!

Seen this before..But if you,re satisfied there is not problem with the engine, and there are no "real faults" detected, the system should go back to normal after 50 restarts without any intervention or resets. Keep eyes and ears tuned in though..Are you o.k about resetting the service mileage warnings yourself?
