Hello All,

Well I wanted to put an update on my 1999 Vdub passat 1.8T.

A few month's ago I broke a timing belt, and realised that an engine rebuild was in order.

so I did. I also went an extra mile and put a K04 kitt with Chip fuel preshure regulator and beru pluggs.

with the engine rebuild that car feels great!!!!

But even before the rebuild my Cruise Control stopped working,

the pedal connectors seem ok, I think the control arm is Ok. Does the CC use fuses, and relays on my model car? Maybe a dumb question, but still.

Do check the vacuum lines and connection.
Fuse #11, 5A (cruise control, automatic transmission)
Fuse #31, 15A (Back up lights, cruise control(?) automatic transmission)
I don't see a relay listed, but there is a control module:
Non EPC cars -J213-, behind passenger side airbag (through glove box)
EPC cars - controlled through ECM/ CSS switches in multi-function wheel
