i've seen many but not sure which one is more safe and easy to work with

know any good website? with good tools in good price? :bow:

damn you can rent tools from autozone? you have friend or something? 8)
I can do that too? or just got em for free cause you know someone? wst

Autozone has free loaner tools including similar clamp-style spring compressors. You need to show a licence and leave a deposit but yeah it's free.

I rented the top ones from Autozone,kept them for the price. I snapped the ones
I bought from HarborFreightTools (center pic) after a dozen installs.

The easiest to use is a clamshell spring compressor:



You can spend around 2-300.00 on a good one. I bought one from Harbor Freight for about 70.00 on sale back several years ago. I have used it on about two dozen vehicles from full size trucks to mostly Jeeps and just this year the main bolt finally stripped out. If you are in the business of doing springs, spring :lol: for the better quality. The Harbor Freight version is good for once in a while.

wow i would go with free from autozone haha... that's too good to be true..... I was looking for some cheap ones from ebay but well

i will get one from ebay or just borrow one from autozone haha thanx guys for very helpful replies
