Try this procedure by Ross-Tech to see if it will clear your problem,
climatronic hidden menu 19-2 : which temp ?
Hi,
My car ( TDI 170 2.0L PD ) have too many DPF regen even if I drive a lot on highway ... engine less powerfull , higher IDLE and diesel consumption and sometime if I push the engine over 2500 the turbo goes off and I have an engine light warning ( the one with the spiral )
And each time the temp 19-2 of the climatronic hidden menu goes higher than usual
Can someone with VCDS confirm me which 19-2 temp is exactly ?
