I damaged the door that covers the space that the medkit and the CD changer. I am desperately seeking this part. I found one in a junk yard for a B5. Will this fit into my B5.5? Are they the same size/color? Apparently you can't order JUST this part from VW parts

I believe the doors are the same. Call the dismantler back and double check the part number with the part number on your door. It's molded into the back of the door and should start with 3B0.

Unfortunately I threw the peice away once I realized there was no way to repair it.

Anyone want to help me by sharing their part #?
