well i have been having a cel code and emission workshop light for the past 5 month. whenever i clear the code i get back my chip boost, but when it come back i go back in stock mode.
So my Maf is 06A 906 461L which is for over 300 at the dealer and elsewhere- so I have been doing some research and have found out the 06A 906 461A might work-
well here is the initial result
changed out the MAF sensor, car started ok I cleared the code and BAM, boost is back, drove for around 5 miles car pulls hard as ever and no CEL or code-
only problem is that i feel alittle hesitation around the lower band range at times. I am going to drive it for a few days and see if it just needs some adapting and will update.

Update? Do you have access to a vag-com to see what airflow numbers you are getting? My '99 1.8t gets up to about 131.
