Yes, sorry my bad m8. I just didnt wanna confuse people. The mod is the COMING/LEAVING Home feature for the B5.5. So i installed the headlights and "Coming home" function is working great, which means the cars headlights stay on for about 20 seconds after going out of the car. SO my problem is that for the "Leaving Home" function to work, i need to connect to the Central Locking System! This is for the MOD to work when you open the car with the key fob. So as many Passats, i have Central Locking System, i found it under the carpet of the drivers seat but what i dont know is where the POSITIVE AND/OR NEGATIVE signals are, if i find them, i can easly connect the (4) wires from the mod to the signals! They mentioned it supposed to be an Impuls not a constant signal/power ( i dont know what it means) . help me out here please, I sat here since 6am!

And is there is different between the postive and negative signal? is it like positive for locking and negative for unlocking? Thanks a lot!

You haven't provided enough info for me to be able to help much.
The central locking signals can't be used because they are on a CAN-Bus.
Maybe you could connect the positive signal wires to the wires connecting to the motor in one of the door lock modules, and connect the neg wires to ground.

See the diagram shown in this thread. http://www.passatworld.com/forums/b5-garage/342079-tmtuning-coming-home-module-install-questions.html

As suggested earlier, you can connect the +signal wires to the Black/Gray and Black/Blue wires that connect to the motor in one of the door lock modules, and connect the -signal wires to ground.
This is not needed for going home.

Note: The unit should be installed in a place where enough daylight will reach its sensor to disable it during daylight hours.

Pa$at, please only one thread. Tom has been gracious enough to respond and not only attempt to help you, but also advise on the proper way to go about posting here.

Tom, thanks for the heads up on the other 2 threads. I didn't come up with the wording for the report function, but it can be PM'd to any mod to clean up threads if we don't necessarily see them first.

Hi Tom. Thank you very much for the respon! I have connected the headlights with seperate wires as the instruction shows, this means when i leave the car and lock it the lighs stay for about 10-15 seconds and turn off automatically, so here is not an issue. The issue is finding the positive or negative pulse that can trigger or turn on the lights as i open the car with the remote/keyfob. So i have opened the drivers door panel and i founs the motor, i connect some wires there and the light wont turn off, they are getting a constant power. The wires i sliced are; yellow/blue.....Green/red....red/blue. I want an impulse that only triggers when the remote button is pressed, meaning opening thr car. The coming home is worikng great, its the turning the lights on im not getting!

Again thanks for answering, i will try to explain t more if you don't understand this one :)

What you suggested:
Where shall i connect the ground, i will connect to the wires you suggested and i will have another wires that goes from the connection spot the door to ground? Because the Coming Home Modul does not have ground. I dont know how to post images but, if you search on Google the "Jom Coming Home Modul" you can see how it looks. It has:

To wires for the headlight right side, and two for the left.

- two for the power supply (directly to the battery + and -)

- Two POSTIVIE central locking signals

-Two NEGATIVE central locking signals.

For the central locking the instruction states: "Important is not a constant signal is present, but only an impuls"

Thank you tom! Please help me out here, the dashboard is torn apart and i cant drive the car now, 4 days i have sitten here like this trying to figure out how! I have searched forums, webpages and God knows what, so please! Save my day :D :D

But do i still need ground? If so where shall i connect it, how? From both line seperate or together?

The signal negative wires from the mod should connect to any good ground connection. (Together is fine)

Oh OK, but the instructions didn't say anything about ground they only said I should connect the signals to positive or negative, do I still need the ground? I'm new at this so sorry for asking too much, Why do I need the ground for? The mod has its own fuse. The connection is working great!

I can't say it more clearly, the 2 negative signal blue wires SHOULD BE CONNECTED TO GROUND.
With those not connected the system is grounding through other parts of the circuit, this might cause damage.
