Hi, I am new to the forum and just purchased a 2008 Passat 2.0 Lux yesterday. This morning I got an error on the CD player saying CDC hardware error. It will not play or eject cd's now.Has anyone else had this error or know what causes this? I am going to take it back to the dealer, I just can't until next week so hopefully one of you will be able to help me.

Oh, man you posted my same exact problem. Mine's a 2008 lux wagon that I picked up last week. Same thing. Just a month later. Any update?
