Don't know, go to a dealership and ask them to plug it in to eject. That's what I normally do.
I jumped the gun. As long as your CD changer is operable then plugging it into another Passat should work. Or as nevaryzarc suggests, go to a dealer and see if they can charge it so the changer is operable.Impossible without destroying the CD changer.
Ok, I'll try the hole and if that doesn't work I'll just ask whoever I sell it to to send the CDs back. (Yes, my original single-din radio with CD changer will be for sale shortly)There is a hole into which you can push a paper clip to get it out, I am a 100% sure of this as I have done it before.
Can't find the place to put the paper clip... there are some pictures on my ad maybe you can point it out.. anyway, since I'm selling it I'd rather send a self addressed stamped envelope with it and ask for the CD's back. Here's the ad (in case anyone wants to buy it:lolLet me know if it works - I am positive it should.
Hey! It's the backstreet boys, not n'sync! :lol:yeah, clarion changers always had a slot where you stick a screwdriver and jiggle it in there for a while and it hits something to eject the cartridge. good luck. too bad you might go awhile without jamming your n'sync and mandy moore tapes while showing off your family truckster. i kid i kid. calm down.
