Does your pressure regulator valve supposed to have OIL in it?

I'm trying to diagnose a problem (See my other thread) and I took the pressure regulator off to get to my N75 valve, and oil spewed out of it.

Just to make certin we're all on the same page, the part I'm talking about is at the very bottom of this picture (thanks Herman) next to the N75 valve.

Sorry to make a new thread like this, but um, my car is in pieces. haha
THANKS FOR YOUR PROMPT HELP!!!

Welcome to the clogged PRV and PCV club. I removed my valve above the turbo and here's what I saw:

read all about me replacing this valve and the other PCV valve under the intake manifold. both were caked with chunks of oil and pretty much fell apart in my hands. I've had 2 oil leaks and the dealer could never find where it was coming from. I found it. In 2 places. Both valves were clogged and letting oil seep out the sides.

Holy crap, I never read that thread!

Good catch! It sure pays to be confident enough to start taking parts off your car, so the dealer doesn't have much ammo to jerk you around!

yeah. I just hate that we have to find this stuff on our own because the dealer doesn't see anything wrong. I had taken it to them 3 times for the oil seepage. they wiped it clean and said everything was OK. :(
