Since I can't get some parts from Raxle.com, they only ship to the States, where would you Canadian drivers suggest I buy my CV Axles from? Perhaps our neighbors to the south know of a good online store.

Thanks!

I talked to Marty from Raxles myself on the phone, and he had no problem shipping axles up here. Said he does it all the time. Said it was gonna cost me about a hunnert bucks. Said I wouldn't be able to collect on the core charge either, as shipping internationally was too much trouble for what it was worth. I'm going to have my indy order them for me when the time comes as they have an account with him and I believe in supporting local business, even if they tack a bit onto the price (and, they will credit me the core charge... or, they would, if I had OM axles.... I've got EMPI, so I' SOL that way) I'm sure they'd be glad to order 'em up for you, though there would have to be a place in Cowtown that could do the same. (is there not a "find a dealer" button on the Raxles web page? I know I found a listing of more than one vender here in Alberta; two in Red Deer and at least three in Edmonton)

Edit: BTW, don't waste your time looking for anything but Raxles. The only thing available, near as I can tell, are EMPI axles, a really cheap and crappy after-market axle that retails for about a hundred dollars, or factory from VW to the tune of $1200.00. I'm looking at about $700 shipped in from Raxles for OE remanufactured axles that exceed factory specs. The EMPI are junk.

Do you recall the name of the Vendors in Red Deer? I was hoping to get the $200 core deposit back.

The indy I deal with is Mikasa Performance, 403 348-5858, and the other guy is Das Auto Haus, 403 346-4287. They both deal with Raxles.

Mikasa Performance
Das Auto Haus - Performance and repair of VW, Audi, Mercedes Benz and Porsche

I can't speak highly enough about Mikasa, they've been fair, and most helpful, and the parts-girl, Jatherine, really knows her Dubs.

Edit: I should mention that those are the guys in Red Deer. I don't recall at all any of them from Calgary.
