I will be ordering a full B5.5 Votex kit withing the next few months from the Liberty VW group buy, and I saw the option of them painting it before they ship it. How hard woud it then be to slap all the pieces on? Isn't it just a matter of unscrewing some end caps on the sides, putting the new sides on, and using double-face tape to secure it all, or is it much more coplicated than that? I am just trying to save a few hundred dollars if I can...

Does anyone have a write-up on installing the Votex? Thanks!

The kit goes on with adhesive that is supplied with the kit. It really takes 2-3 guys to put it in place and you need a warm garage to do it. Some people have used two sided tape on the side skirts. I was going to do it but it got cold and I have become friends with an body shop so I had them do it. The back seems to be the most trouble and had to be redone because it pulled away

wheel wells are an excellent idea.

I've 6 or 8 counter sunk screws stratigicly placed along the votex front.
(1 up inside each foglight area, and like 4 in the middle section)

you can't see 'em at all unless you get on your back and look up at them.

Good insureance IMHO.
