Yesterday I replaced the coolant flange on the back of the cylinder head because of a seal leak, what a PITA!
While doing this and leaning on the engine and cursing the German engineers, I broke off the plastic tabs on both sides of the front coil pack connector. I have searched all over the net and despite being able to find the coil pack all over, I cannot find the style of connector needed for this type of coil pack. I don't want to buy a complete set of new style coil packs and wiring harness if I can help it. I currently have the thing attached with zip ties, but I am not happy with this temp fix. Can anyone help?

I have seen that and the other videos. I'm using paper clips instead of the tool.
I have separated the terminal from the housing, I don't know if there is some other safety feature I have to remove before I push out the pins, because I can't get them out.

On the newer 4 pin connectors there is this purple safety clip that I got to pull out first, and I have no problem removing those pins with a paper clip.
