Anyone know where to get brighter tail light bulbs? Maybe LED"s?
Need something brighter then the stock bulbs. Bulbs for the reverse lights too.

Let us know how they turn out
Those sylvanias are I think pretty much standard brightness. And are those the part #'s? I do not see any LED bulbs with those #'s.

Superbrightled web site states that:
LED bulbs are generally not as bright as standard incandescent bulbs, they have many advantages over filament bulbs (longer life, faster on/off times, lower power consumption, more vivid colors) but brightness is not one of them.
I thought they were suppose to be brighter :???:

I have the 1156/1157's from superbright LED's, and they are much dimmer than the factory bulbs. I only use mine in the fog light position in the tails as aux brake lights for now. I would like to find LED's that are bright enough to work in there.

Since the lense is red, You put clear LED's, right?

No, that's because the light of LED bulbs shoot in one direction, while the regular bulbs emit light in all directions. The reflectors in our taillight housing are designed for standard bulbs.
