Braking News - New Rotors w/ Pics

So it was time to replace my rotors as you can see from the first 2 pictures. Beleive it or not as bad as they look there was no pulsing or anything :icon_eek:

I was debating a few different options, I have the OEM A8 upgrade and I was thinking of going with ECS 2 piece rotors. Then I saw there new geomet rotors and I was impressed so I decided to give them a try:

Volkswagen Passat B5 FWD 1.8T > Braking > Big Brake OEM > ES#2189956 Cross Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors - Pair (312x25) - 8E0301RXSGMTLRA

After a few months of beating hard on these rotors I have no complaints. They look as fresh as the day I installed them. Performance with the A8 upgrade and these rotors is awesome. If anyone is in the market for new brakes on a limited budget I would highly reccomend the A8 upgrade and geomet rotors.

Amazing, I have the A8 big brake kit too. Mine are the plain rotors. When I need to get new rotors though, I'll get the geomet for sure!

Nice but why is there room left to go down on your coils? :D spin them down a bit!!! I will be in your town in few weeks btw :)

rotors look great and those wheels are perfect for your car! But please loose the trunk spoiler, IMO it ruins an otherwise beautiful car.

I agree, problem is the previous owner installed it and looks like the trunk was repainted with the spoiler installed, so I'm afraid to see whats underneath :crazy:

looks to me like he's missing the side bits that sit on the rear fenders to even it out.

I LOVE those interlagos wheels!

BTW, funny how 312mm is a BBK on a B5, and standard size on a B6 ;) :poke: .

It's a 3 piece Zender spoiler. They look even better in person. V4Vangelder had one on his Charger magnet.
