Turbo gurus help me out,
I installed my VDO boost gauge today and all is working well, but im am worried because i have read that in vacuum it should be at 20 HG at idle, and i am around 23.

I have an APR chip, and it spiked i think at 20 PSI in 3rd, and is holding around 15-16. Is this normal or do i have a leak?

sorry, Forge DV, neuspeed exhaust and downpipe, Evo intake

And another note, the boost signal line that i hooked it up to, (the one that goes to the DV) Was a piece of crap, it almost broke in my hand it was soo rotted

Where can i get some hoses to replace this?
Any suggestions on my boost?

around -19 to -21 inHg is normal. Only reason I can think of for excess vacuum is an extra-dirty air filter. Have you cleaned/changed it lately? Then again -23 is not way off, so I wouldn't worry. :)
