Asking "Would it look ricey?" is like asking "Am I fat?" of your loved one. If you have to ask then you should know the answer...
Black light bulbs on license plate
Do yall think black light bulbs would work in the license plate bulb spots? I saw Xedo's post about his car and QualitySound is right, it does kinda look like black lights. Would it look ricey?

who cares if people thinks it looks "ricey"...do your car how you think you'll like it...no matter how you modd your car, some people will like it and some won't...all that matters is DO YOU LIKE IT :thumbup: :thumbup:

lol...I'm sorry I just think one should do to his car what he/she thinks looks good to them...their car should be an extension of themselves w/nothing held back b/c someone thinks its "ricey"... :thumbup: :thumbup:

At least here in TX, it's not legal. Regarding rice, sure it looks ricey, but it's your bowl of rice :wink: , so who cares ?
Well, I know in Tx it is illegal to have Neon around your license plate and MUST have a white light on the rear one. Unless they changed the law.
If your license plate lettering is white, wouldn't a black light bulb make it even more easier to read since the letters will be "glowing" against a non-glowing background?
I would not start messing around with license plate area. Cops are itching to give tickets nowadays. I got ticketed twice for having smoked LP covers.
About it being rice? it's good to ask this question. All you guys who say "its your ride, do what you wanna do to it" is just BS. part of the reason for modding your car IS to impress others or at the very least get attention. Guys don't all get fixed up because it makes them feel good, we wanna impress others especially of the opposite sex.

no, its not BS, its an opinion...and in my opinion, your car should be what you want it to be and not what the next guy wants it to be...and as I said, no matter which way you do your car, some people will like it, and some won't so you might as well modd it to your liking...All you guys who say "its your ride, do what you wanna do to it" is just BS. part of the reason for modding your car IS to impress others or at the very least get attention.
