For a hair over $100/wheel and $80/tire. Was wondering what those budget “Sport Edition” wheels were like. They look decent in person! Paint is evenly applied.

The 37 offset hit right on the mark. No spacers used.

The Kumho’s feel sporty enough for what this wagon will be asked to do!

Nice, now it just needs the body closer to the ground...
Absolutely. Needs to come down.

I am thinking H&R Wagon Springs paired with Koni STR.T dampers.

Can't go wrong with that combo.
I haven’t searched yet- B5/5.5 shocks/struts aren’t sedan or wagon specific? Correct?
Some feedback on the Kumho PS31. So far I really enjoy the feel of these tires on the wagon. They’ve done great in the rain with great traction overall -particularly well in a recent downpour!
They are performance oriented enough for what I want out of the wagon while still maintaining a level of comfort and quiet. Very happy with their choice of tire.

TireRack test results here show it against the Indy 500 (another tire set I currently use on a 430i) and I actually prefer the PS31 over the Indy 500 from what I’m wanting out of its application on the Passat Wagon.

Added some Wolfsburg center cap stickers!

Looks good but incorrect

All B5/B5.5s were built in Emden/Zwickau

Ha!
Well. HQ of VWAG is in Wolfsburg right?
Besides! Looks better than the Tire Rack generic “Sport Edition” no? 😀
