Wait a minute... I don't get it. I just picked up an F from the dealership for my B5.5/2003 so how could a C designated for B5/<2001.5 supercede the F which is listed for B5.5?
In any case, both should fit regardless of the orientation of the plug because I made the J version fit, which has the total opposite orientation. It just makes it the wire taught but doable. I took out the J because I was seriously overboosting in the cooler winter air - peaking and holding over 21 psi then going into soft limp... not fun. Switched back to stock F valve and running much smoother without spiking or overboosting but spool up and throttle response is a bit slower.
