you can barely see the hood lines in this one, there's a little deviation in the reflection from the sides of the hood to the center. i kind of think with the flat black though the lines may be a bit more noticable, since right now it's just primer and there's no reflection.

Don't knock it. A guy in my local club used flat black krylon thinned down so he could spray it and it looks SWEET! I'm thinking of doing mine like that but with something more along my color preferences. His is a cabrio too.
