Hi all. Wanted to put an AWM valve cover on my ATW engine because its vented and looks better with the smaller openings since im running 2.0t coils. And since I'm doing my VCG.

Question is how do I route the vent on the VC? Should I route it into the pcv system or atmosphere ? Filter ? Or plug.

Are all the other bolts and hold down locations the same as my current one or is there customer work needed ?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

EDIT: Will an ATW valve cover gasket work with the AWM valve cover ?

The cover will fit just fine, no custom work needed. You could just plug the port, but it's a smart thing to connect ot to the PCV system and have the top vented (into the pcv system). I installed an AWM VC on my ATW, because I wanted to vent it. I got parts at a junkyard from an early AWM (a bit simpler system, same PCV valve), but eventually made a custom system to connect a catch can. You could make your own connections, make sure the material is rated for oil. The line coming out of the VC needs to connect BEFORE the bleeder valve. I would definitely not suggest venting to the athmosphere. Google AWM pcv system diagrams, it will give you a good idea.
