Hi,

we just PCS'ed from the US back to Germany and shipped our Passat 2017 back to Germany with us. It is currently somewhere on a ship in the atlantic ocean and due in Germany in a few day. it feels kinda funny to have a VW assembled in the US in germany. To my knowledge, most parts of the Passat are made in germany but put together in the US. The German B8's look a bit different and they have different engine options.

The US built Passats are a completely different chassis than Euro Passats.

Somebody just told me it has more in common with the Golf 7 and the B7 Passat EU specs than the B8 EU specs.
