hey guys , i have a question, im trying to hook up a narrow band O2 gauge on my 2003 turbo, can i just tap into the O2 sensor (either pre or post cat?) and if so what colour wire would i use?
or do the 03s come with wideband both sides ?

lol mine has a A/F guage that not hooked up either...and i was wondering about how to do it because i couldnt find anything on the net about it...but i really havnt looked into it that hard

first one has 5 wires
and none of them are the same colour :icon_eek:

but my tiburon had widebands and they only had 4 wires so who knows.

you think the signal of he back sensor would be good for the AFR gauge ?

i think some of the later years are wideband. earlier (aeb/atw) are narrowband.

my AWM has a wideband O2 sensor pre-cat. on my air/fuel gauge i have 3 wires. i just cant figure out which wire to tap into. I've searched the forums and the net but nothing for a vw. all i can find is for ford/chevy. anyone know?

i think i helped speedy out with the wiring ill check in the morning if no one helps. but i got a aeb and mine is hooked up to the pre cat o2

if i tell you its an 03 will that be enough ?

AWM if i'm not mistaken. wasnt/isnt AWM used from 01.5 to current?
